Blessed Assurance is the name of Betty's Book,
and here is just a little of her testimony.
This book is a vivid testimony of Rev. Betty Hamalainen life.
God raised her up from the darkest pit unto his endless joy and
power. Her life began in a bleak orphanage and went further
down in seething hatred and rebellion to a term in prison. And after many times in solitary confinement when she wanted to be a deferent person.
After her release from prison she met her husband Bob who was an entertainer, and Betty too became an entertainer. Despite much success, her deep longing to be a different person intensified. Finally in desperate need for peace, Betty cried out to the Lord Jesus Christ and received her blessed assurance.
Her Blessed Assurance transformed her life into a continual release of the Holy Spirit's joy and power. Wherever she and her husband went to serve the Lord, people received salvation, healing, triumph over demons and great joy. but those who opposed them were literally thrown down and silenced simply by speaking the name of Jesus. One man's vulgar mocking instantly and hilariously changed to praising the Lord without ceasing by just one quick prayer.
Betty's blessed assurance also brought her maturity. she concludes her testimony with some humiliating experiences that prepared her to receive God's wisdom. then she encourages us to serve humbly and mightily in the Lord Jesus Christ, our blessed assurance.
