All the Fat belongs to the Lord

God does not want us to eat the fat on the animals, it is a decree he made for all time. I knew that scripture was in the word. It is hard on our arteries, it clogs them up with the fat.

Isn't Jesus wonderful, it took me all afternoon to find a scripture. I thought it was in Genesis, But the Spirit of the Lord knew where it was, I looked up fat and not there, I looked up all and not there, But here is the scripture that says that.

Leviticus 3: 12 "If the offering is a goat, bring it into the presence of GOD, 13. lay your hand on its head, and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron's sons will throw the blood on all sides of the Altar. 14 As a Fire-Gift to GOD present the fat that covers and is connected to the entrails, 15. the two kidneys and the fat which is around them on the loins, and the lobe of the liver which is removed along with the kidneys.

16 The priest will burn them on the Altar: a meal, a Fire-Gift, a pleasing fragrance. "All the fat belongs to GOD. 17 This is the fixed rule down through the generations, wherever you happen to live: Don't eat the fat; don't eat the blood. None of it."

Now we can give the fat of our worship to the Lord. He tells us to eat the fat, and that does not mean the fat of the animals. it is eat the fat of his word, the anointing that flows from the very Christ himself in the Word.

Nehemiah 8 10 Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

Isaiah 55: 1 WAIT and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].

2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy].

Mary and Martha
38 As they continued their travel, Jesus entered a village. A woman by the name of Martha welcomed him and made him feel quite at home.

39 She had a sister, Mary, who sat before the Master, hanging on every word he said.

40 But Martha was pulled away by all she had to do in the kitchen. Later, she stepped in, interrupting them. "Master, don't you care that my sister has abandoned the kitchen to me? Tell her to lend me a hand."

41 The Master said, "Martha, dear Martha, you're fussing far too much and getting yourself worked up over nothing. 42One thing only is essential, and Mary has chosen it--it's the main course, and won't be taken from her."

Look to the One who redeemed us he has all the power to save, deliver and heal, no matter what it is he has the power to provide for all.
