Joy Of The Lord Ministries

Be not weary in well doing, for in due time you shall reap if you faint not. I hold the whole universe in my hand and I have you in my hand so don't be weary but look to me and I will take you through any trial that you are facing.

Be Still and Know that I AM God.

I will work in the midst of you, have I not said in my word that the curses were signs and miracles that I did in Egypt? Am I not the same God today as I was then? Do you know so little of me that you cannot trust me for what I will do? Yes I am the same God and I will work as I did before. So many think that all of the people have to have faith in order for me to move, I say, NO, NO, all I need is one man or woman who is willing to be set apart in the wilderness as I work in their lives to cleanse out the old and fill in the new.

I am the Lord God of Israel and also I am the Lord your God in the midst of you. Would you allow me to be the God I desire to be in your midst today? So many have a wrong view of who I am, they still think that I am the God who will bring a whipping upon their backs, so many are afraid that I am not please with them so they hide from me, and they beg of me to do what I already did. Open your eyes and behold the Lord your God.

Look up and see.
Look up and see that your redemption is drawing nigh, many have lost the sight of my returning, and they are looking everywhere else, but up to me. Which one of you will be willing to go forward into the battle that I have already won and declare it to others? Will you be so afraid that you will be different and you want to compromise your stand in me? Have I not given you all this joy and why do you allow mere man who will wither like the grass to put you in fear. Will you not rise up in me and allow my Holy Spirit to work in your midst. Why did my people loose their joy in me? Why are they looking elsewhere to regain what I have given to them? Will you not come away from the midst of them and put the confusion far from you?

The Victory is already won and all we have to do is receive it as our own, pick up the spoils and live the life that Jesus Christ has already paid the price for. Sure there is a battle but it is done on the other side of the Cross. We walk the narrow path that the Spirit of the risen Christ leads us on, and we have sweet fellowship with Him there, and He is the One Who brings all glory to Jesus Christ.

Why are you so afraid?
Therefore My people go into captivity [to their enemies] without knowing it, because they have no knowledge of my word. And their honorable men [their glory] are famished and their common people are parched with thirst. [Isaiah 5:13]

They are looking somewhere else, then up to me and rejoicing in who I am and serving me with joy. This is why the curse came upon Israel because they would not serve me with joyfulness.

Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness of mind and heart [in gratitude] for the abundance of all [which he had blessed you]. Therefore you will serve your enemies whom the Lord shall send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and in want of all things, and he will put a yoke of iron upon your neck until he has destroyed you. [Deuteronomy 28:47-48] WOW

Someone has told them to go this way, when I told them to go that way. I am the Way the Truth and the Life. What happened in knowing that, you have allowed robbers to come and steal that which I have given unto you.

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to lie down and sleep. So will your poverty come like a robber or one who travels [with slowly but surely approaching steps] and your want like an armed man [making you helpless]. [Proverbs 6:10-11]

The appetite of the slugged craves and gets nothing, but the appetite of the diligent is abundantly supplied. [Proverbs 13-4] [Hebrews 11:6] But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever comes near to God must believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him out.

Thirst is a curse.
Thirst is one of the curses and being hungry goes the same way, but Christ Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law for he became a curse for us, for the scripture says cursed in the one who hangs on a tree and Christ was hung on a tree, and truly he took all the curses of the law. There are two kinds of thirst, one is in the natural, and when you are thirsty you drink of the water that is there.

When a person walking through the desert and finds no water he becomes thirsty where his lips stick together, and his tongue starts to get dry and swollen, and he is going to die without finding any water. But when he sees off in a distance something that looks like water, he keeps his eyes upon it and when he comes to the spot where that looks like water, he finds that it is just a mirage. And his heart faints within him. Then he cries out to the Lord, and the Lord God Almighty leads him to the place where there is true water. And this thirsty man will drink and drink and drink like he wishes to drink the pond dry.

[Psalms 107:4-9.] Some have wondered in the wilderness in a solitary desert track; they found no city for habitation. Hungry and thirsty, the fainted; their lives were near to being perish. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He delivered them out of their distress. He led them forth by the straight and right way, that they might go to a city where they could establish their homes. Oh, that men would praise and confess to the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and the wonderful work to the children of men.

Then there is a spiritual thirst. Where one can become so thirsty and dry and find themselves in a parch land where no water is, they can cry out to the Lord and the Holy Spirit will lead them to the right place that will glorify Jesus Christ and they will drink and drink and don’t have time to say they are thirsty, because they have no time to talk, they just want to drink of the living water the water of life that Jesus Christ provides. But listen to this. Some will run to and fro trying to seek water where there is none because everywhere they go it makes them drier and their thirst not being satisfied.

For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.

In [Amos 8:11-12] Behold the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but a famine for hearing the words of the Lord. And the people shall wander from sea to sea [meetings to meetings] and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord [inquiring and requiring it as one requires food] but they shall not find it. In that day fair virgins and young men will faint for thirst.

You see they go everywhere else but to the Lord God Almighty to the mighty Christ who is the source of our deliverance. The ears and hearts are blocked that they cannot hear for they are seeking after man’s fame than after the True Word of God. Jesus Christ is the true Word and only the Holy Spirit can bring glory to Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah!! Jesus says and I believe this because He is the truth. [John 4:13] Jesus answered her. All who drink of this water will be thirsty again. He was talking about the natural water, and living in the carnal mind. [John 4:14] But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up flowing, bubbling, [continually] within him unto eternal life

Jesus Christ said on the last day of the feast in [John 7:37-38]. Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice. If any man is thirsty, let him come unto Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trust in and relies on Me] as the scripture has said. From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. But He was speaking here of the Spirit. Whom those who believed [trusted, had faith] in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified [raised to honor].

Will you not rejoice in me again?
Will you not rejoice in me again? Yes I weep for my people, because they have lost their joy and they are looking for something that I already gave them and then they get tired and give up and think they have to live this way of ever being hungry and thirsting., and then they get burned out for seeking for me, and it is written as the Holy Ghost said in Paul. My little children, for whom I am again suffering, birth pangs until Christ is completely and permanently formed within you. [Galatians 4:19]

In [Jeremiah 29:11] the Lord God Almighty says. For I know the thoughts I have towards you, thoughts for good welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will seek upon me and find me when you have searched me with all of your heart. You will find me says the Lord and I will release you from captivity…

These people were in captivity in Babylon and for 70 years they had to stay in captivity until the word of the Lord came to pass, but he had the prophet Jeremiah there with them, you see when God’s people go into captivity he also sends his prophets in there with them so they can bring the word that God has to say, but they have stopped up their ears and they will not listen, even as Isaiah said in his day [Isaiah 53:1] who has believed trusted in, relied upon and clung to our message of that which was revealed to us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been disclosed? Isaiah is shocked in his day, with their hearts being closed and their eyes shut tight and they refused to listen to the word of God.

Jesus said in [John 12:37-41]. Even though He had done so many miracles before them [right before their eyes], yet they still did not trust in him and failed to believe in Him. So that what Isaiah the prophet said was fulfilled: Lord who has believed our report and our message? And to whom has the arm the power of the Lord been shown, [unveiled and revealed]? Therefore they could not believe [they were unable to believe]. For Isaiah has also said. He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull]. To keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them. Isaiah said this because he saw His glory and spoke of Him. [This is a reprobate mind. Bad, wrong, evil, vicious, wicked, immoral, sinful.]

Live In The Spirit
Jesus Christ has sought us and bought us and have caused us to walk in his way and where the spirit of Christ is, sin looses its power, and let me say that again where the Spirit of Christ is, sin looses its power, we have been brought out from captivity when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we were brought out from the land of sin and brought into the land of milk and honey of his word and it is his word [the spirit of his word] that keeps us in the land of promises. Jesus said that the word that I speak to you is spirit and life, you see some of the word spoken from lips of man is not from the spirit of the living Christ, but from what man in his own finite mind conjures up to get followers after them instead of being true followers of Christ Jesus who really sets a man or a woman free who are obedient to what he has said.

[2 Peter 1:3-4] God through his power has given to us every thing that pertains to life and godliness through the full, personal knowledge of him who has called us to his own glory and excellence and virtue. By means of these, he has bestowed upon us his precious and exceeding great promises so that through them we can escape from the moral decay and corruption that is in the world through lust. And become partakers of his divine nature.

We live in the new testament of what Jesus Christ done for us on Calvary. And the awesomeness of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering and being conformed to his death, out of death come life, out of sorrow come joy, and out of worry come trust. When we look to the Lord Jesus Christ and what he has done on Calvary and what he is doing now. Who he is, He is the awesome God who shed his blood to redeemed our soul and to bring us out of captivity into His liberty, we must allow the Holy Ghost to bring us into the joy of the Lord which is our strength. And all they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,

[Isaiah 40:27-31] Why, O Jacob [it would do you good if you put your name in their] do you say, and declare, O Israel, my way and my lot are hidden from the Lord, and my right is passed over without regard from my God? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does n0t faint or grow weary; there is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Even youths shall faint and be weary and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted.

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Look at how positive this verse is,
Shall change,
Shall renew their strength, and power,
Shall lift up their wings,
Shall run and not be weary,
Shall walk and not faint.

Hallelujah!! We are the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ, he truly is our righteousness, and only through him can we ever be pleasing to God. So we must wait upon Him and expect Him to do just as he has said. We go forth in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit and we come into a land that is flowing with milk and honey.

Our old nature was and is crucified in Christ death on the cross, what he has done for us was done for our benefit that we can turn our lives over to him every day and expect him to be true to His word that he will keep us. And being renewed every day in the Holy Spirit, for He is the One Who leads and guides us into all the truth of God’s Holy Word. No matter what we go through there is always a rejoicing in the living Christ who reigns on high. Glory to God in the highest. What a Savior what a Redeemer,

Jesus also said I AM the light of the world and he who follows Me will not be walking in darkness, but will have the Light which is Life. [John 8:12]

Too many times we don’t want to accept the death of Jesus Christ to be our very own death, and so we don’t want to give up the things that hold us back from being all that He wants us to be. Jesus also said in [John 12:24] I assure you, most solemnly I tell you. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just] one grain; it never becomes more but lives by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.

Jesus was talking about Himself being a grain of wheat, and the only way that we could have eternal life was for Him to die so that He could become us and die to the Adam nature and then rise up from the death and secure for us His very eternal Life. Hallelujah!! He has loved us so much that He was willing to go the way of the most hideous death, the death of the Cross-which was only meant for murders and thieves. And that meant for us.

When He arose again from death, the grave cloths could not hold Him and the sin that he partook for us could not hold him Hallelujah! The power of holiness went into that very grave and shook the death right out of that body; in fact He was the first to rise again from the dead first to have a new life. Oh yes there was resurrections in the day when Jesus walked upon the earth, but this death that he arose out of was the death that we deserved, it was spiritual death that we were all doom to. You see all who have received Jesus Christ as their own Lord and Savior have passed from death into life, that is Eternal Life.

Have you noticed that we are called wheat, and if we are to ourselves and not die so others can live we too will stay just one grain of wheat. The harvest is plenty Jesus said, but the workers are few. I want to tell you that there is plenty of workers out there, but not the kind that die to their own will and way so that the harvest can be brought in. It is only in dying that we bring forth life in others.

Look at this verse in [John 12:25-26]. Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal [Whoever has no love for, no concern for no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever.] if anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and if need be in dying] and where I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Wow! Can we really comprehend this? This is possible because Jesus Christ would never have said it. This is why He has given to us His Holy Spirit to bring forth that very life of Christ. So it is possible to live in the spirit and to walk in the spirit because His Holy Spirit dwells within us to bring glory to Jesus Christ. The fruit that the Holy Spirit brings forth in our lives is the very character of Love. The whole fruit of the Spirit is Love fruit.

Joy is Love rejoicing
Peace is Love at rest
Forbearance is Love being patient
Goodness is Love integrity
Kindness is Love being Merciful beneficial,
Meekness is Love’s humility
Faithfulness is Love being faithful
Self-Control is Love having will power

The Holy Spirit is the One Who produces this kind of character in our lives, and as we learn to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit we will see that we can overcome the enemy of our soul. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds, and then we can know the very will of God how good and acceptable and perfect it is for our lives. The only way we can walk in the Spirit is to be surrendered to the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ and the way he lived when he walked upon the earth. He humbled himself to become a man and to be made flesh and blood, so that he could die for us, for surely God himself cannot die, but becoming a man he could die in our place.

[Romans 12:1-2] I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies. Presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy devoted, consecrated and well pleasing to God which is your reasonable service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, fashioned after and adapted to its external superficial customs, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind so that you may prove for yourself what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The only way we can really have perfect unity in the body of Christ is to be subject to the Perfect Will of God. How can we really get transformed into the image of Christ except by the renewal of our minds, letting our carnal mind die and allow the mind of Christ to arise within us? What we think a horrible thing is happening to us we will with the mind of Christ be able to see it from the point of view of the Father.

The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ will never let anything happen to us if it is not going to turn out for our good and His Glory. We think how Jesus went through such rejections of His own and how He would cry to the One Who could save Him from death. And He was heard because of His reverence towards God. In that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father. [Hebrews 5:7] Though He was a Son He learned obedience through what He suffered [Hebrews 5:8]

So let us look up at the One Who went before us and paved the way to Holiness and then He ask the Father to gives us His Holy Spirit. Amen
